The end of finals, the end of first sem

I must try my best to update this blog which is on the brink of closing down. I am here to save u from dying thelessathestarosa.

''My finals are finally over, yippie, hooray, hallelujah...etc etc'' This is typically how people will react at the end of their examinations but not me. In fact, i feel very guilty and sorry to myself and my parents for being rather ill-prepared for the 3 papers namely T3, T4 and T5. The month prior to the finals was actually a crucial moment to prepare myself for the exams. Instead of doing some early preparations, i was addicted to this XocamDC software. Well this term is rather technical, let me explain in brief what this is. Basically, it's a software created by a computer genius who once studied in sunway college. This software enables we hostellers to share their files among each other under this LAN connection. Only those staying in the hostels are able to download movies, songs, series and whatsoever at a superb speed. DAmn fast. I am serious. The fastest speed i encountered so far when downloading movies was at 3 point something MB per second. Awesome right?

That was how i spend my precious few weeks prior to exam downloading nonstopped. I watched movies from dawn to dusk. I still manage to flip a few pages from time to time. Fortunately, i decided to leave my laptop at home under my parents' care rather than bringing it back to my hostel. And i think that was the only week i really do some studying. But it wasn't enough to face my exam.

Our exams were held back to back for 3 days at 3 till 5 pm. Weird time right? It reminds me of having exams in the afternoon during spm for some of the papers. It was hot and sleepy during spm but now it was cold and sleepy. Thanks to the aircon.

Let me roughly describe how ''well'' i did for each papers. It was like hell.
Firstly T3 which was supposed to be the easiest subject to obtain world prize, supposed to be, yet I screwed up damn badly lor. Time management was one major factor which i was oblivious to. 45 minutes was spent on objective alone whereas my friends merely used 15 to 20 minutes to settle off the obj. Plus i didnt learn my depreciation well which cost me a lot. I couldnt do that question and i allocated too much time to think through it but to no avail. I should have moved on to the last question which was easier. In the end the 2 questions was poorly done and they carried a lot of marks. - - ! The ironic part was my friends those smart ass, well didnt focus much on until the day before the paper, yet they seem to fare well for it. Pure genius.

T4 my second paper wasnt that bad. The shocking part was the first question. It came out the easiest question which no one would have expected. It was so easy yet so difficult as some of us couldnt remember the formula including me though i remember partially. It wasnt really that bad la for this paper as it was so much better than T3 at least i can confidently say that i can pass this paper. I did my obj fast after the T3 lesson and manage my time better.

T5 well all of us didnt expect a change in format of presenting the question to us. It didnt divide each of the main question into other sub questions as in the past year papers. Many of us are unsure of how much to write so most of us including me just write as much as possible. Overall it was not too bad and past year questions do repeat!!! 2 questions you know or maybe more. Nobody would expect that. I memorize so many other so call potential questions yet none of them came out. Those surprises where just as shocking as my SPM.

Hopefully i am able to clear all three papers as i really don't want to go to the re sitting classes.I will keep my fingers crossed everday. I felt pangs of regret for not concentrating in class at times which put me in such a desperate situation in the finals. I vow to change my attitude next sem. I have to change for the better if not i might not be able to finish this course in three years time. It's tough but still, i have to play hard and work hard at the same time.

An hour later after my exam, i went to play badminton with Daniel, my classmate. Well a guy came to join us in the game as there was no one else playing at that time. He was so far the most skilful player i had ever encounter. Even my friends in the badminton club i join last time werent that strong. His smash was fast like rocket the sound was like a big explosion!!!. What to do a typical sunway representative. I played till my ass was completely sweat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My shirt got sticked to my body. I was perspiring like mad...If only i can take a pic of me sweating...It was a nice experience to play with him. And also i got to know that he was actually my senior doing his final year. He NEVER FAILS A SINGLE PAPER BEFORE. Very impressive good looking guy. Still single age 21...XD

Later, Daniel and I who were the only 2 remaining ppl in the hostel gang went for a late night movie at pyramid. Terminator Salvation. It was excellent. I love the story line very much but dont really like the thunderous sound effect as it was way too loud.
